Delicious ice cream should be an option for everyone all the time, whether they have a dairy allergy or just can’t eat dairy temporarily. As a hobby-ice cream maker I saw that so many recipes for non-dairy ice cream also assumed that I wanted to avoid sugar and fat, when the only ingredient I want to avoid is dairy! This trend set off my diet-culture alarm bells and inspired this project: Nummy’s Ice Dream, a line of full-fat, full-sugar, full flavor non-dairy ice creams.
